This private day tour takes you to all our hand-picked sites in the famous Golden Circle area of Iceland. This celebrated region is rich in history and boasts powerful waterfalls, geothermal hot pools, erupting geysers, separating continental plates, and delicious food—all just a short drive from Reykjavík!
We'll start the day with a visit to the colourful Kerið Crater, where you can walk along the edge of a volcanic crater formed thousands of years ago. Then, we head to the iconic sites of the Golden Circle. First, we’ll visit the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, followed by the erupting geyser at the geothermal area of Geysir.
For lunch, we’ll stop at Friðheimar Tomato Farm, where you can enjoy a unique dining experience with a tomato-inspired menu right inside the greenhouse among the plants. Friðheimar is also an Icelandic horse breeding farm, offering you the chance to meet these photogenic horses.
After lunch, we'll continue to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the location of Iceland's first parliament. Here, you can take easy walks through beautiful nature and witness the rift zone where the tectonic plates are pulling apart.
You’ll be back in Reykjavík in the late afternoon, concluding a day filled with incredible sights and experiences on this private tour tailored to your preferences.
